This is another customer requested rig design that I put together.   It is similar to the rig used in the programme Hell on Wheels.   It is originally based on a Mexican Pancake holster, and a plain unlined leather belt.

The rig will easily fit a Colt 45 5 1/2" barreled gun, but will accommodate many other styles and sizes.  The leather is 3.4-4mm vegetable tan leather, and the belt, in keeping with the original, is 2"" wide, and fastened with a roller buckle.

I try to make the rig a bit 'worn in', but it won't take long for you to get that 'lived in' look to the rig.

I have included additional options, including other than black, and bullet loops, the choice is yours as to how you want your rig to look.

don't forget to provide me with your proper waist size.   I will add several inches to this to allow the rig to be fitted over a coat, and still have that 'sitting on the hips' look.
