The Colt 1911 is still a very popular gun, but normally seen in a pancake holster.   A customer contacted me because he wanted something a bit different.    So he sent me a few images of holsters he liked, and asked me to make a rig for him along the same lines.   There are 2 leather bullet clip things included, but if you need more, let me know.

This is the rig I came up with, and I have to admit, I enjoyed making it.   Every new rig brings up a new challenge, from taking the customer's ideas, to converting  those idea into a workable design.    

This rig fits the Colt snugly, with a little bit of wet forming of the 3+mm veg tanned leather, giving it form, and character.   

If you want, I can decorate the rig as much, or as little as you want.   It's best to contact me to discuss any decorative details, before you purchase the belt and holster.

as usual, the belt is fully lined, but not the holster.   Again, if you need the holster lined, contact me first, and we can discuss any changes you want.

Everything is handmade to order, and I do not keep any pre made stock, so every rig is made to fit your  personal waist measurements, and can include those changes to make it yours.  It usually takes about 21 days to make and post this rig.

Don't forget to message me with you 'proper' waist size.   If you can include a measurement around the hip area, where the belt will fit, that would be great.
